Class Description
Learn techniques in Rope (aka Corde Lisse/Spanish Web), Tissu (aka Silks/Fabric/Ribbons) and Static Trapeze.  Attention will be given to safety technique, basic rigging, conditioning and flexibility development and maintenance.  Students will also learn the importance of proper body alignment and critical techniques to safely execute tricks.

Students of All Ages and Experience from first timers to seasoned professionals; from aspiring Circus Performers to people wanting a fun, exciting, new way to get and stay in shape or just to have fun.

Professional Biography
Rachel Stegman, Director/Instructor for Circus School of Arizona, LLC and Senior Instructor/Administrator for Gregangelo & Velocity Circus, has studied technique with numerous acclaimed circus performers from many different circuses including Gregangelo & Velocity Circus, Ringling Brothers/Barnum and Bailey Circus, The New Pickle Circle, The Nanjing Acrobatic Troupe, The Mongolian State Circus and Cirque Du Soleil.  She studied for several years at the San Francisco School of Circus Arts as well as Trapeze Arts, Inc. in Oakland, Ca.  Rachel has performed through the United States and is a well sought after coach, noted for her exceptional critique and professional development of all levels of Aerial Students.

Personal Biography
Rachel Stegman grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona.  She had her first taste of Circus Arts at the young age of 8, after that wanting to become professional Aerialist.  She attended performing arts camp in New York and in June of 2007 returned to Arizona to open the Circus School of Arizona, LLC.
